Murdo
A toasted bagel loaded with butter, ham, chicken, bacon, cheese and tomato with gherkin at the side. It’s one of those sandwiches I make when I come home drunk - just fill it with everything that’s available in the fridge. It tastes great at the time but it’s just too much, too complicated. Bagel is however the king of bread.

A couple of slices of toast with butter. It’s something that is always available when I’m hungry, most of the time it’s last resort but sometimes I would kill for a slice of toast. It’s a good friend, not too complicated and always there for me when I need it.
Chris
A roll with egg mayonnaise. A very common sandwich filling, there are just too many of them out there. I have had it a couple of times but egg mayo is really not that great is it? It seems to be the last sandwich left on the shelf in supermarkets, nobody really wants them.
Darren
White bread sandwich with butter and jam with crusts cut off. It’s a sandwich for kids. A very simple childish bite that doesn’t require a lot of effort and is quick and easy to eat. The fruitiness is very attractive to me but I can’t stand how clingy white bread is - it sticks to your mouth and it just isn’t enough to satisfy me. Still hungry after eating a jam sandwich.
Jed
A BLT Ciabatta. For me, it’s something that looks really good and I’m so attracted to it but I regret eating it. I often forget that I don’t enjoy it and keep going back to it. I have had it 4 times in the past 5 years. This sandwich actually belongs to somebody else.
Callum
Brown bread sandwich with tuna mayo and cucumber. I used to be in love with this sandwich for years. Now I have just had enough of tuna, the thought of it makes me cringe. This sandwich hates me too because I chose more interesting fillings over it so I will never get to have it again and it’s probably for the best.

A croissant with pesto and cheese. A combination I never thought I would enjoy, but now I can’t get enough of it. It doesn’t seem like a good idea because I’m lactose intolerant but it’s so worth it. Very satisfying especially in a croissant, it’s both sweet and savoury - exactly what I need. Favourite sandwich by far.
